What are the benefits of using composite decking?

Traditional timber decking does not age well, unless it’s looked after on a minimum of a yearly basis.

Although a timber deck can look appealing, the thought process for installing timber should be carefully planned out.

The reason we recommend composite decking to our clients is simple, it lasts longer, looks better and has very minimal maintenance. it’s as simple as that.

Low maintenance

Composite decking does not need seasonal maintenance which normally includes sanding, painting or sealing. Just give it a wash after the winter months.

T-clip system

The majority of composite deck boards have hidden fixings, these include a plastic ‘t-clip’ and stainless steel screw giving you a seamless finish with no visible screws down through the boards.

Does not splinter, warp or rot.

Because of the additives added during the manufacturing process, composite decking does not splinter, warp or rot.
